Playing Standard: Grade 7
Playing Time (approximate): 2 min 40 sec

This composition is written throughout in Ab Major, with an ending in C Major. It is written in the unusual time signature of 11/8, and requires the accordionist to be able to maintain an accurate rhythm in counting (3+3+3+2) and continuity. However, once established, the piece flows freely and rhythmically so that the unusual time signature is not noticed. Indeed, the time signature changes from 11/8, and into 8/8, 7/8, and ends in 7/4. It incorporates some bellows shakes that require good control. The piece is ideally suited to the piano accordion, due to the layout and fingering of treble keyboard chords. A good technical standard is required. It is ideally suited to Stradella bass instruments.
