Notes from the Composer:
DW924E - Chocolation:

Playing Standard: Grade 3
Playing Time (approximate): 1 min 10 sec

The name came from an amalgamation of the words “chocolate” and “elation”: chocolation. The aim of this tuneful piece is to encourage the performer use right hand fingering that mixes sustained notes with changes above or below the sustain, to aid dexterity. The left hand is comprised of only three chords – useful for accordionists with limited bass keyboards, but using main and counter-bass rows. The piece contains dotted notes, as well as tied notes, plus staccato and ritardando markings.
