In 2013 at the Coupe Mondiale in Canada, selected composers were invited to have their 'Original Solo Work' (composed in 2012/2013), to be performed at the Coupe Mondiale for the first time, by the artist of their choice. Tian Jianan performed the work and the work won the Best Original Solo Work Award at the 2013 Coupe Mondiale.

At a seminar in Tianjin, China on the 4th October 2012, Franck Angelis described the new work which he had written for Tian Jianan (of Beijing), winner of numerous international competitions including 2 weeks ago, the under 18 years concert category in Castelfidardo.
Tian Jianan had only started learning the new work the last few days with Franck Angelis, and with her amazing skills, was already able to play the work.
