Bernadette Conlon, BCD001: Accordion Popular Classical Masterpieces

Australia's first lady of the accordion, Bernadette Conlon has captured the hearts of audiences around the world. Her dazzling virtuosity and heart-felt sensitivity have become her trademarks. Bernadette, a firm believer in bringing the music to the people, has mastered not only the acoustic accordion, but also, as is demonstrated on this recording, the exciting MIDI accordion. This CD however is not an exhibition of electronic effects, but pure accordion playing with sounds from the MIDI used to enhance the sonorous texture of the accordion and EVERY note you hear, Bernadette plays herself.
