Lars Ek is a highly skilled accordionist, well known for his interpretations of Pietro Frosini and Nisse Lind. Lars is also known for his own compositions and for being the founder of frosinisociety.org

Lars is from Stockholm, and started to play the accordion at the age of 5. He made his debut on the radio at the age of 6!
As an active accordionist, he has accompanied several musicians in Sweden and abroad. He has been on tour with his popular “Hot Trio” - he also does solo performances.
Through the years, Lars has produced many recordings where he has succeeded in reproducing the sound and beauty of the great accordion composers.
Lars Ek founded “The Frosini Society” in 1985. The society main task is to preserve the old accordion music. Lars is chairman of the Frosini Society, and does a considerable amount of work to ensure the growth and popularity of the accordion - both in Sweden and abroad.
