"Song for S.B." was born as a test piece of the International Competition of Morro D'Oro 2003 in the Jazz section.The idea was to use an advanced harmonic writing (through the use of combinations of chords in the left hand) while remaining within the Italian melodic style. The song is appropriate for jazz group, for virtuoso (solo accordion version) and for the accademic world (version for string quartet).
